Carrie Prejean, the current Miss California, will get to keep her crown! 

After topless photos of Prejean started to surface and her controversial answer at the Miss U.S.A. pageant, the question of whether or not Prejean would keep her crown was on everyones mind!  Today, Donald Trump held a press conference and reassured the public that she will be keeping her crown.  Trump said, “She gave an honest answer and for that she should be commended…We have determined that the pictures taken are fine, so we’ve made a determination that everything we’ve seen, we’ve made a determination that they’re acceptable and in many cases very lovely pictures.”

Prejean said a bunch of crap and thanked Mr. Trump and the Miss California organization.  Then, she added, “I’m not going to be speaking out against same-sex marriage.  I’m going to resume my duties as Miss California but also stay true to who I am.  We will see how we will balance the two.” 

On the subject of marriage being between only a man and a woman, Prejean stated,”Not only do I hold this belief, but as Mr. Trump said, the President of the United States, the Secretary of State, and many Americans agree with me in this belief.”

I think Donald Trump made the right decision.  Tara Conner was able to keep her crown after her drug and alcohol issues.  I think people deserve second chances, and Prejean only spoke her mind.  Perez Hilton, who I love, may be seriously pissed about it and want to declare war on Prejean, but that isn’t the right way to go about this.  You can’t change someones mind by yelling at them and declaring war!  Prejean is totally correct in saying that the President and many other Americans feel the same way she does.  Obama was elected President!!  Should we impeach him now, because he agrees with her views?!  No!  Prejean is a beauty queen.  Why do we hold her opinion so high?  Sure she had some crazy pictures taken, but who really cares!?  She is hot, and perhaps it was a mistake.  I doubt she will ever do it again.  Everyone makes mistakes.  We shouldn’t burn her at the stake just because gay people are pissed!

Last night during the Miss USA 2009 pageant, Miss California’s Carrie Prejean received the most controversial question of the night, and her answer might have cost her the crown!

During the question and answer portion of the pageant, Perez Hilton asked Miss California a question regarding same-sex marriage.

Here’s the transcript of the question and answer between Perez and Prejean:

Perez Hilton: “Vermont recently became the 4th state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?”

Prejean: “Well I think its great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”

Some people in the audience cheered, while others booed.  Prejean has said that she believes her answer cost her the crown.  She feels like she won; however, her answer to the question kept her from the crown.  Prejean ended up being the first runner-up to Miss North Carolina’s Kristen Dalton.

Okay, during the show, I KNEW Prejean would loss the crown after that answer!  I was such a fan of Miss California.  She was flawless right up until her answer.  I think Hilton’s question was total bullshit.  First of all, let me say that I am fully for same-sex marriage.  I think it should be allowed everywhere!  With that said, if such a controversial question was going to be asked, then they should have asked all of the contestants!  All of the top 5 may have felt the same way, but Miss California got the shaft because she said how she felt.  If they didn’t like how she answered the question, then they shouldn’t have included that question.  I think she answered from her heart.  I think it was bullshit!  I think Kristen Dalton did a great job, and I’m glad she won.  However, we are all left to wonder if Miss California was actually meant to have that crown!!

Russell Brand hosted the MTV 25th annual VMA awards.  Ummm…I was not impressed.  He was probably the worst host ever.  He started the show by telling Americans who to vote for.  He said we should all be voting for Obama.  He slammed Bush (understandable…but did he need to do that at the VMA’s)??  He talked about sex the whole time.  It was so stupid.  Who the hell thought this guy should host? 

Russell Brand used to be a heroin addict, sex addict, and an alcoholic.  Brand’s first hosting role was as a VJ on MTV.  He presented Dance Floor Chart and MTV Select; however, he was fired after he came into work dressed as Osama bin Laden the day after 9/11.  Again, who the hell wanted this dude??  He talked shit about Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol Palin, for being pregnant.  Yet, he promotes sex.  So, does this make sense??  Even Perez Hilton thought his sex crap went a little too far. 

Hands down…worst host ever!

Perez Hilton, the King of all bloggers, is looking much thinner!  He is apparently doing the 5-Factor diet!  Other celebrities who have done this diet are Jessica Simpson, Alicia Keys, and Katherine Heigl.  (So…I don’t know what that really says about the diet).  Anyways - Food is prepared for you, and sent to your home (I assume it is something like the Zone diet).  Perez recently said:

“I think I’m getting some results” and “You don’t feel deprived - there is always some sort of sweet thing on the plan” and “Starvation is not the way to do it”.

I think he is definitely getting results!!  And we are loving the blonde hair!  Perez has such a great attitude!  I am so happy he is finally getting healthy!!  He is getting skinny and doing it the right way (see kids…he is a role model!!)

Perez Hilton, real name Mario Lavandeira, is getting sued by DJ Samantha Ronson for defamation of character.   Perez Hilton wrote on his celebrity blog site back in July that Samantha had set up Lindsay Lohan by planting cocaine in her Mercedes after Lohan’s infamous car crash.  The $20 million libel lawsuit was filed last July, and Judge Elihu M. Berle, who is presiding over the case, has cleared to question Perez Hilton.

Samantha Ronson denies any claims that she touched or handled Lindsay’s cocaine.  She also denies ever using the drug.  Perez Hilton’s  attorney assures the court that his client checked out all the information making sure it was “accurate and trustworthy” before he published it.  Even if Hilton’s report was wrong, her attorney must prove that Hilton acted intentionally to harm Ronson.

I think this is a little ridiculous!  Samantha Ronson is awesome, and I like Perez Hilton…..so I can’t really pick sides here.  This whole thing should just go away.  Perez was just doing his job, and if Samantha Ronson wants people to know she isn’t a druggie…well I think people should know that by now! She has proven her point.
