Barack Obama, 47, was elected the 44th President of the United States!

The Democractic Senator from Illinois held 52 percent of the popular vote, while his rival John McCain held on to 47 percent.  Obama, the son of a Kenyan father and a white mother from Kansas, won the majority of the battleground states.  Last night in Chicago, Obama gave his victory speech to a huge crowd of Obama supporters.  

He said: “If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.”

“It’s been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this date in this election at this defining moment, change has come to America.”

“And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn, I may not have won your vote tonight, but I hear your voices. I need your help. And I will be your president, too.”

Obama’s Kenyan relatives and Africans across Kenya are still celebrating.  They sang, danced, and wrapped themselves in the American flag.  Kenya will be partying for two days.  They also have declared a holiday for Barack Hussein Obama on Thursday.  In fact, across Africa, many people are hoping Obama will now be able to help the vast continent, which is the poorest in the world.

Congrats to Barack Obama!  This is an outstanding day in history, and I’m glad I was here to be apart of it.  Of course, if George W. Bush and that stupid senate wouldn’t have ruined the economy, we would be looking at a completely different guy for the job.  Most polls show people were very concerned about the economy when voting in this election. 

A couple of things: (1) For the love of God, will African-Americans please stop saying that the white man is keeping you down now?!  Obama is black, and he is the next President!!!  What more do you want?!  I’m happy Obama made it…I hope it changes a lot!  (2) For all of you Robin Hoods out there…ummm you won’t be stealing from the rich and giving to the poor (yourself).  Obama isn’t going to turn you into moneybags.  If you thought that, you are an idiot!  The rich will stay rich and the poor will stay poor.  Do you really think EVERYONE is going to be middle class?  Get real!  It doesn’t work that way!  The poor will continue to be a drain on the rich society.  (3)  Do these Africans really believe Obama is going to go over there and help while our country is in the shambles?!  I mean get real!  He is OUR President.  He needs to clean up OUR country first.  That will take some time.  Those idiots seriously believe he is going to make their lives so much better because his father was from Kenya.  OMG!  No!

However you voted … be happy with the turn out!  More people than ever voted!  That is pretty outstanding!

Akon is a complete idiot.  He is ”threatening” to move to Africa if Obama doesn’t win!  Can you believe this guy?!

Seriously…somebody buy him a hut over in Africa and get his ass set up!  People who “threaten” shit like that are so dumb.  I know this fat dude named Grant, and he has been saying he will move for years if the election doesn’t go the way he wants it.  Well…his fat ass is still here!!!   They act like people are going to freak out and vote for who they want just at the single thought of them not living in this country anymore!  PLEASE! 

In a recent interview with the UK’s The Guardian, Akon says he will give up his citizenship and return to Africa if McCain wins the presidency.  

He went on to say, “If he [Obama] doesn’t get into office, I’m gonna change my citizenship. I’m moving back to Africa. You can hold me to that. I’m afraid to live there if he [McCain] is President. The decisions he makes scare me: he’s making selfish decisions, he’s doing whatever it takes to get into office.”

He also added, “I don’t think he’s going to last eight years so she’s definitely going to be president. Oh my goodness - that’s scarier. And who would be her running mate? Joe the Plumber?”

Akon also confessed, “I’m very afraid. If the people don’t see [that life in America will deteriorate under McCain], then that’s a dangerous place to be for the next four years. I can’t even envision how bad it’s gonna be. I see it now - like, I’m driving down the highway, and I see cars parked with their emergency lights on because [people] can’t afford to buy gas. You’ve got families walking, carrying infants to the next exit to take a taxi, because the taxi will get them home cheaper than the gas.”

Akon also said that he thought the last election was fixed.  He also wanted to tell everyone that, “I really, really hope that Obama gets in, but I don’t want to jinx him.”

What Akon really meant to say was….. “I want the black man in office.  White people scare me.  (not just McCain but all white people in general).  Black people know how to run a country betta than the white man, and I think the white man be holdin us down.  So, I will get the hell out of here, because I’m scurrred if they don’t pick my bruh!”

At this point, I just hope McCain wins, so all these retarded people will move.  They won’t, but at least they will be pissy for another four years.

Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain are potential first ladies.  But who will be our first lady?!  We will know tomorrow!! 

I have a feeling history will be made tomorrow.  We will probably be electing our first ever black President.  That will be pretty damn exciting.  Regardless, even if Obama doesn’t win, Sarah Palin will be the first woman as Vice President.  I think that is very exciting!!!  We live in a country where racism still exists, and women are still seen as second to the man.  I think this election year we have come so far as a country.  It is very exciting to be an American right now.  No matter who you are voting for!

Another note:  Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama need to work a little better on looking the first lady type.  Whoever wins tomorrow, the first lady will need a serious makeover.  Michelle looks like she has been doing dip for years!!  I mean damn…her lower lip looks like Bubba Gump!  I seriously think she has tobacco stuffed down in there and a spit cup on hand everywhere she goes.  And sometimes….her hair is a hot mess!  I understand she is going for the natural look, but damn girl….go ahead and get some weave.  It just looks better!  Plus, that ass is starting to get outrageous! 

Cindy McCain, go ahead and have yourself a meal!!  Get yourself a pizza girl!  Plus, girlfriend needs some botox!  I mean I am all for the aging process, but if Joe Biden can have work done than so can Cindy.  She looks so frail.  And….could someone do her make-up please?! 

Overall, they both look a hot mess.  I don’t think either of them are ready to be first lady.  Laura Bush was actually on point when George took office.  She looked very nice.  One of these women need to really be thinking about turning their looks around if they intend on being a good looking first lady instead of the rag-a-muffin they look like today!!!

Colin Powell went on Meet the Press this morning with Tom Brokaw.  He tells viewers he has been courted by both Barack Obama and John McCain, but he finally wanted to tell viewers who he was going to be voting for and why.  Of course, it was weird timing since the election is only two weeks away.  I guess he wanted to make a big splash!! 

The former Secretary of State decided to go with Barack Obama.  Why?  Well, he gave some BS answers which Brokaw was all over.  Brokaw at one point told him it was starting to appear as if it was another African American voting for an African American.  Powell was of course ready for that statement and gave his practiced answer.

Powell was born in Harlem and grew up in the South Bronx.  He was the National Security Advisor when Ronald Reagan was in office. He was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the George H. W. Bush Presidency.  Just recently, he was the Secretary of State for George W. Bush.  He served 35 years in the military. 

Of course he would go with Barack Obama!!  He has partnered up with Republicans forever now.  It seems as though he would back someone who had been in the military…not like Obama (NEVER set foot in a boot camp).  Brokaw was right….this is just an African American voting for an African American.

Sarah Palin was announced the candidate running for Vice President along with President hopeful, John McCain several days ago.  Already her life has been turned upside down.  In the search to find out who Sarah Palin is, we have found out who Sarah’s daughter is.  Everyone Democrats have had a shit fit about Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol, being pregnant at the age of 17.

Bristol Palin is already 5 months into her pregnancy.  Rumors were swirling that Bristol might already have a child, since she was seen with Sarah’s 4-month-year-old son, Trig.  Therefore, confirmation of Bristol’s pregnancy needed to come out now, rather than later.  Palin announced on Monday her daughter’s pregnancy.

“Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned.  We’re proud of Bristol’s decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents.  As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support.”

My thoughts: I feel so bad for this girl.  She basically became a celebrity over night.  Now, her issues are all over the T.V., internet, newspaper, etc.  That would totally suck!  The girl messed up and got pregnant young.  Okay…so it happens.  She clearly didn’t take the Pro-Choice way out and stuck to the Republican beliefs of Pro-Life.  Children are going to do stupid things.  It shouldn’t really have any refection on the parents.  Unfortunately, it does in some cases though.  Good thing Obama’s girls are young.  Hell….they could grow up to be pole dancers or have unprotected sex and get AIDS!!!  I’m just saying….you never know what your children are going to do when you aren’t around.  Palin shouldn’t get a bad rap for this just because her daughter is pregnant.

Mitt Romney has dropped out of the presidential race! After Super Tuesday’s showing, the former Massachusetts Governor decided to suspend his presidential bid. Romney got with his advisor’s and decided yesterday this would be the best decision.

Romney said:

“This is not an easy decision for me. I hate to lose. My family, my friends and our supporters … many of you right here in this room … have given a great deal to get me where I have a shot at becoming president. If this were only about me, I would go on. But I entered this race because I love America, and because I love America, I feel I must now stand aside, for our party and for our country.”

I think a lot of people weren’t voting for Mitt strictly because he was a Mormon. But…it is America, and I guess we gotta go with who the majority wants….right?! So far…on the Republican side (it’s between John McCain and Mike Huckabee) and on the Democratic side (it’s between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama).
