Ellen DeGeneres showed up to the Emmy’s last night with Portia de Rossi and could not have looked happier!  Portia had on her big, pink engagement ring, and Ellen talked about the wedding!

Ellen and Portia confirmed they have a wedding date set, and Ellen told People, “Planning a wedding is very stressful. It is crazy. My gardener is now invited. I can’t wait to be married. I feel like it is long overdue. And I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous like we all don’t have the same rights.”

It’s really great these two can now get married!!!  You can just see the hearts floating off of them!  They are truly in love, and I wish them all the best!

Ellen DeGeneres is gonna marry longtime girlfriend Portia de Rossi!!

On a taping of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” yesterday afternoon, Ellen mentioned to the audience that the California Supreme Court ruled against the state’s ban on gay marriage.  So, Ellen surprised everyone with plans to marry her actress girlfriend, Portia de Rossi!!!  And….Portia was sitting in the audience…how cute!!!  Needless to say, the audience went crazy!!  The show will be airing today!!

Congrats to Ellen and Portia!!  They are such a cute couple!  I hope they last forever!

Christina Aguilera showed off her new motherly rack during her first talk show appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday! Ellen probably couldn’t take her eyes off of them!!  They are massive!!  Christina has already lost a lot of the baby weight!!  She really is looking fabulous!  Baby Max is such a blessing!

I’m sure her husband, Jordan Bratman, is really enjoying those new additions to her figure!

Portia de Rossi is dating Ellen DeGeneres and everyone knows she is a lesbian, but according to her she felt a little uncomfortable bringing her real life sexuality to filming a sex scene with Joely Richardson on ‘Nip/Tuck’. 

Portia, who played Richardson’s lover, in ‘Nip/Tuck’ told People magazine,

“I hate gratuitous sex scenes. I’m a prude, I really am. I related to Joely’s character so much more than my own. She was having a really hard time with her sexuality, and it was difficult for her to tell people she was gay. To hear her struggle like that was very emotional for me.”

However, Joely said she really enjoyed the sex scenes with Portia. She confessed,

“I have no problems kissing women. It’s not the first time I have done lesbian scenes. I have heard Ellen was jealous. She has been on set. She is great and Portia is lovely. Please don’t think there is anything going on between us.”

Portia also had been worried about being type-cast as a lesbian is she took the role, but Ellen was very quick in telling her not to worry. 

“My relationship with Ellen is so public, and I thought, ‘Am I going to play a romantic lead again?’ I had that one moment of, ‘Does this mean I’ll be typecast as a lesbian?’ And Ellen turned to me and said, ‘So what?’ And I thought, ‘Oh, yeah, right, so what?’I was offered romantic lead roles, and I turned them down because the lesbian seemed more interesting to me. It’s so crazy because I never faced any kind of discrimination. Here, it’s all scripted, but it still stings. It was a very interesting thing for me to experience. I’d walk away at the end of the day not feeling very good.”

There have been all these rumors swirling around that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have broken up!  But don’t believe everything you hear….because they haven’t.  Reps for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have said there is no truth to those rumors and the couple is still together.

I guess those rumors started because Ellen was really upset over that whole dog issue.  She was crying a lot and people just assumed it must have been because there was something else going on (like a break up).  How stupid!  LEAVE ELLEN ALONE!!!!  CAN”T YOU SEE SHE’S NOT WELL RIGHT NOW!! SHE’S UPSET ABOUT HER DOG!! (okay enough of acting like Chris Crocker)   Ellen and Portia are a cute couple!  I think they will last awhile.
