I am a serious fan of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Why? I have no idea. You get no educational value from the show, but it is seriously entertaining sometimes. I love watching these crazy women. It is like a show on what not to do when you are a rich housewife. I am picking up a lot of tips!
Anywho, for those of you who are also fans, what the FRICK is up with Gretchen?! Tamra decided to throw a dinner party for her “friends.” However, the whole night was about getting Gretchen wasted. Tamra told Vicki she wanted to get Gretchen drunk so she would act stupid, and that is clearly what happened. Ryan, Tamra’s loser son, spent the night playing bartender and serving up tequila shots to Gretchen. He also kept his eyes glued on her.
Couple of things: Why the hell is Gretchen out partying again?? Her fiance, Jeff, is in the hospital dying??!?! He was in the ICU a couple of weeks ago when she decided to go to the lake with her family and party. Gretchen is a gold digger who could care less about Jeff. If she gave a shit, she wouldn’t be so worried that she wouldn’t be able to have any fun. She continues to tell everyone that if they were in her position they would understand. I was in her position. My father almost died last year. He was in the hospital forever!! My mother NEVER left. She was there every damn day. She never got a break. You don’t get breaks. When someone is your life and they are dying, you don’t take a break for yourself. She is a total bitch. (BTW: Jeff, Gretchen’s fiance, passed away during the taping of the show).
Another thing: Why is Tamra being such a bitch? She is such a shit starter! Ryan was all over Gretchen…it was so gross. Why didn’t anyone say anything about that? GROSS!
Gretchen then goes into the bathroom with Ryan. She probably cheated on Jeff with Ryan. Why? Because Gretchen is a total gold digging whore. She is official TRASH in my book.

1Tamra is more obviously self-esteem challenged than any of them, and that includes “Desperate for an I love you from Mom” Vicki! Her husband seems a lot smarter, really not sure what the hell he’s doing with her.

3Can’t STAND Gretchen! EVERYONE HATES HER! She is such a gold digger. She only went to see Jeff when it was convenient for HER! She didn’t really love Jeff…she loved his money. She is so stupid. I can’t believe he died. People actually live through serious diseases b/c people stick by their side in the hospital. Talk to doctors….they will tell you amazing stories. If Gretchen would have been there and not out partying and acting a fool, maybe Jeff would have lived. She is awful. She acts like she was the only person to ever go through something. She is selfish, and bad things will come her way b/c of her actions. She shouldn’t have acted like such a slut with Ryan. REGARDLESS if they really did anything or not!

5Personally, I like Gretchen. And I DID lose my father this past february. Not only that, I was his primary care giver. I’m 24. Its hard to watch someone you love so much fade away, especially from Cancer. There is nothing you can do for them and sometimes for your own sanities sake you need to get away and surround yourself with a support center. THIS IS A DOCUMENTED FACT. Not only that but do you think that person in that bed wants you there the whole time. Some parts of dying are humiliating and they want you to keep living, and having someone there alll the time can be exhausting. I give kudos to your mother for her strength. As for you…grow up, learn a little tolerance and understand that everyone deals with things differently. Not only that…THIS IS A TELEVISION SHOW! Even in reality tv they do take after take, at different angles..they stage redo’s and then they manipulate the footage. For someone that loves the show you obviously know nothing about it. Kthxbai.

6I basically have seen parts of this show and some of the others and really I find all of these women quite unattractive. That they have some money is besides the point. As an American man, I’m astounded that these women behave the way they do.
As for Gretchen, I will say she has one helleva smile and is by far the most attractive of these women. The age advantage clearly helps her but put me in the corner where the fake breasts are a huge turnoff.
Did not know that this man Jeff had passed? Is that true? Last I saw the selfish witch Vicky was trying to talk “sense” into Gretchen to get into the will. A conversation if any should have been between the potential spouses but certainly not with these frenemies.
Not sure what happened with Gretchen and the punk kid son of Tamara. Clearly Tamara was trying to make a nice show for the cameras. She knew her son, lame as he is would be trying to make a play for Gretchen. The guy’s not blind. She is really lovely and has a beautiful smile.
If she serviced the kid in the bathroom that would be classless. But we don’t really know that. Do we?

9That Gretchen is a cheater is not a shock. The selfish quotient with these people is off the chart and it would be a surprise if she wasn’t a cheat.
IMHO, the late Jeff knows how it will go down and after five marriages he decided it was worth it. It was his choice. And hopefully it was worth it.
Understand after all his marriages he didn’t leave a lot behind. So if Gretchen was hoping to be a gold digger, she paid for her error.
Natural breasts and a really nice figure, if I was Jeff I’d do it too.

On the flip side I have never seen a more insecure women in my life than Tamra. There is something wrong there and I can’t quite place my finger on it. I mean she has made it blatantly obvious that she is extremely jealous of Gretchen and considers her a threat in some way. Even people who have issues with Gretchen can see that. Tamra comes off really tacky, even more so than Gretchen’s drunken screw up. Maybe all the money she’s spending on tanning would be better spent seeking professional help. Might even help her chest a bit as it is starting to shrivel up like a raisin…just a thought.

She could clearly have any man she wanted. I think that if she was a “Gold Digger” she would not have continued to be with Jeff. She began the relationship when Jeff was healthy, she had ampel time to change her mind and leave at any time. She may handel the circumstances differently than I “might” however I cant possibly know what its like to be with a man who is dying. Im sure for what ever reason Jeff chose to be with her….he doesnt regret it!
Gretchen is beautiful inside and out, I’m not secure enough to have her around my man, but thats about me not her.

13Of all the woman on the show, Gretchen is by far the most real of them all. Tamra is a complete idiot who is nothing but a shallow Botoxed idiot; Vicki is a shameful mom and wife and should be dumped by her loser husband (I’d like to see him dump her while giving us that nervous laugh of his); the new OLDER woman from Laguna/Capo Beach is boring and obviously a Jew mama, and the overweight realtor needs to be removed promptly, as she is very sore on the eyes, not to mention dumb.
This show is really pathetic and represents a small minority of woman and men, mainly those who live in the nouveau riche climate of INLAND Orange County. They do not have REAL money, and they are probably all in foreclosure now on their suburbia Tuscan style track home in the Ladera Ranch and Coto area. Just about everyone else on their block looks like them, acts like them, and talks like them. YUCK!!!
The best thing about the show at the moment is the house in which the new lady lives in… the one in Laguna or Capo Beach (where is she from anyway?).

14At least Gretchen hasn’t had kids when she was a teen, and she by far blows all of the others away with her looks. Even if she had NO makeup on, she would still be very beautiful. She has an enthusiastic personality and truthfully, she could very easily find a man who has money. There are tons of men with money to burn who are looking for arm candy like her. It’s all a fake lifestyle, but if that is what she wants to live then so be it. It’s her choice, and she isn’t dragging young kids around with her. Tamra doesn’t give her kids the time of day, and tells them to shutup on camera. Pathetic woman she is, and she clearly is trailer trash that is very caught up in this fake Ladera lifestyle that everyone there is now a part of. What a yuck place to live and be. Fake and unrealistic. Everyone there has 2.5 kids, a Cadillac Escalade and BMW, Tuscan Olive trees in their front yard, Granite countertops and dark hardwood floors… am I right? So predictable and so boring.

15The COASTAL towns of South Orange County are where the REAL rich folk of the OC live. NOT INLAND, but that is indeed the place where you find exactly the woman who are on the show. Pathetic woman.
Try Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point and you will have no trouble in finding money and lots of it.

As for Gretchen, I don’t think she is real. I think she is super fake (just like the rest of those women). Jeana is probably the least fake. She is the most unattractive, so there is no reason for her to parade around like she is “all that.” At least she hasn’t stooped to plastic surgery ..and lord knows she can afford it.
Tamra, I agree, is trailer trash. She came from trash…and it is still in her roots! She is a jealous bitch and is most certainly NOT the hottest housewife in the OC. Vicki has SERIOUS issues! She needs to have her whole face redone. She is obsessed with having everyone think she is busy and successful. Control freak! She is rude and for no reason. Tamra kisses her ass like no other.
Lynne is the worst mother. Her children will never become anything. They have no real goals, and she is too laid-back. She is obsessed with looking young, but she doesn’t even look young. It is really pathetic how she tries to wear her daughters clothes.
It is really a sad bunch. Gretchen is hot, but looks don’t make a person worth something. She claims she was there for Jeff while he was in the hospital, but in the end he picked his ex-wife to stay with him over her. He never really cared about her. She is just a dumb blonde with looks. Pathetic life.

I lost my dad about a month ago and I can honestly say I’ve been in her position. I never left his side once and I think that golddigging freak should rot for what she did. 19I just think that if you truly, deeply love someone that you should be by their side during their last days. Why would you want to be anywhere else in the world since those final moments are precious and irreplaceable? True love means being there through thick and thin Gretchen and not going on every weekend getaway or party so you can destress from the situtation. Jeff did not have the opportunity to escape the situation and just out of human decency you should have reprioritized and been by his side. I know that you can claim it was the way the the show was edited but when you say “I committed to a girls weekend in Vegas” it speaks volumes to your true character of a human being. That is just so wrong and my heart broke for that poor man. I just hope that when your time comes that your partner doesn’t leave you for a weekend on the lake or Vegas…I hope that your exisistence is valued a little more than that. Shame on you Gretchen, look at the bigger picture.

21I think some of these comments are a little harsh…considering Jeff’s own grown children were not there 24/7. They seemed to be very grateful that Gretchen was there to help with taking care of him. I lost my mother to a long illness and it is not easy so the fact that she was there says a lot. I mean come on she is a beautiful woman and there are pleanty of men in the OC with big money if she just wanted money she could have got her a healthy nice looking young rich man. If she was such a gold digger she would have taken Vikkie’s advice and rolled him down the aisle while he was still in the hospital and made it offical before he died.

24If anyone is a gold digger it’s Lauri. Gretchen is beautiful, and Tamra is so jealous of her. Tamra does have self-esteem issues, otherwise she wouldn’t need the fake boobs and continue to claim “hotness”. Her skin is hideous; can you say SUNSCREEN Tamra? Tamra and Vicki should share a therapist–they both need some serious help.
I hope Gretchen gets some grief counseling. I think she really did care for Jeff, or his kids would have hated her. Kudos to Jeana for sticking up for Gretchen.
Lynne’s mom is right on! Lynne is going to totally ruin her kids if she hasn’t already if she doesn’t have higher expectations.

26Last night I watched the post show reunion, first let me say Ive watched every episode. In the beginning I thought Gretchen was a gold digger, but as time went on I thought differently. Vickie has issues for sure, the way she passes judgement so easily, how she parents, and how she treats her husband. Tamera, well she’s a trip. Insecure, tacky, and a back stabber. She and vicky are a sad pair. Lynn seems sweet, but is like them all materialistic and vain. It’s all about looks. And she also doesn’t know how to parent her kids. Jeana seems down to earth and seems to be the most real. And kind, the only issue I have with her is that she needs to stop being a doormat to her kids. Because of how her soon to be ex husband (yay! Finally she got the balls to move on) treated her in front of her kids is WHY her kids disrespect her and why it doesn’t phase her, cuz she’s use to it all those years..she needs therapy to help her with that and so does her kids. Matt was an abuser verbally, and not a good role model for their kids. So gretchen, my thoughts have changed after last night show and Tamera let everyone know about what happened. I know believe that gretchen was cheating on jeff. Her face said it all. Think about it, her “friend” says that she’s been getting money from jeff to take care of him. She says it’s a lie, now if a good friend says to your friend theses so called lies would u be buddy buddy with them after the fact? I think not. Being out and about with your gf’s, going to bass lake! Then jeanna seeing his clothes on her bedroom floor!?!? They are def a couple. She was cheating on jeff I have no doubt. Watch her reaction and face if u catch the rerun. I do believe she cared about jeff. And I think having her around made him happy..No harm no foul? In the end it doesn’t matter how beautiful you are on the outside, and this show if nothing else proves that if you’re not a good and decent person that the exterior means nothing, you’ve just wasted alot of money on plastic surgery and botox lol..I have to comment on somethin that was said here about jeana. About her weight ect..she like many of us. We aren’t perfect..but she is self made, she basically raised her kids alone. Had to deal with her husbands brain injury, then deal with his verbal abuse. And to me she is the most well balanced (tho needs some guideness reguarding her kids) and most attractive because she is a good person. Lynn also..vicki, tamera and the left overs are a sad bunch. Ps. Gretchen is now living with Slade. WTF!?

31I don’t hate Gretchen at all. Everyone acts like JEFF didn’t get anything out of that relationship. Please. He’s been married multiple times and wanted someone hot an gorgeous to play with. Big freaking deal. Tamra has become a monstrous b&**% (in addition to Vicki who has always been a narcissistic wench). Who cares if Gretchen had someone her own age on the side. Vicki puts her arms around anyone who will pay attention to her and Tamra is just jealous it’s not her.

45Well apparently events once again overtake us. Slade has been busted for child support and has a home in foreclosure.
So Slade has two kids with two different women apparently and the law caught up to him on being a deadbeat dad. Slade via his “rep” claims not to even know about it. I’m sure those mothers never got that point over to him. LOL
So Gretchen is getting hosed. Slade isn’t even paying to play. Heinous!

48Reminds me of a former boss who once said, “Show me a beautiful woman and I’ll you a guy who’s tired of sleeping with her. Or putting up with her.” Something like that.
Well not here for that but to say I was wrong about Gretchen. With the Slade and other stuff that came out I did watch the full finale episode and it’s clear why Tamara doesn’t like her. She saw through all the “official” Gretchen and knew she had a guy on the side. It’s not criminal but it doesn’t show her in a good light when a guy very ill was showering her with quite a bit.
Gretchen tried her best to play it off, comments that she wasn’t with anyone, but we know how women can play that game. It was obvious that the guy who was first deemed a “stalker” then ex-boyfriend was still hitting it. You don’t have your clothes laying around a chick’s bedroom floor unless you are pretty regularly in the bed.
Gretchen tried to play it off like he was now just a family friend. I’m sure to her family that is how she portrays it. They probably don’t even know the guy has bedroom rights.
So in that context it’s understandable that Tamara was getting somewhat exasperated. Although there was not full proof evidence that Gretchen was banging this guy, out of the blue Jeanna drops the bomb about seeing his clothes on the floor in Gretchen’s bedroom.
Gretchen’s defense? Why did you look there? Well women use their eyes and once seen, it isn’t forgotten. Funny but Jeanna actually handled it the best by merely remarking on the matter and then promptly not editorializing about it.
What else needs to be said.
Yes Gretchen is very pretty. In fact she has that lovely shallow personality that is endearing to go along with her good looks. So when the knife comes, you don’t even know when it’s entered your back.
All you’d know is something is wrong when you fall to your knees.
Not pretty.
Okay Slade, next. Let’s see how he handles this one.

50The reunions show is very telling indeed, but more than anything shows what a jealous witch Tamra is, how insecure she is, and how she and Vicky need to put the heat on someone else to cover-up their own dysfunction. Why would Tamra need to destroy Gretchen, no matter what she is about? Would Tamra have married her husband if he weren’t rich? Give me a break. Jeff was married five times, so please don’t expect ANYONE to believe that he didn’t know what Gretchen was like. 95I have written many times since the OC wives began, but, they never post it. When Slade was on that dating show with Jo (before this season of the OC wives began), he wrote in one of his blogs that he was dating a Gretchen Rossi, said how “hot” she was and that we’d see “a lot more of her”. I assumed he meant on his show with Jo. Well, when the OC wives came on, I went to his blog and asked about his relationship with her and how did she end up on the OC wives with a fiancee? The next day, his blog was erased!!! He must have been dating Gretchen before or while she was engaged to Jeff. The media is now making it look like she just started dating Slade after Jeff died? That seems to be another ghost in her closet? I am glad that Tamra, Jeana, etc., finally “outed” Gretchen’s long bed of lies.. Many of us felt it from episode one, but, no one would answer our questions and it seemed to be swept under the rug to make her look good/like the victim on the OC wives show. Only the “poor Gretchen” comments get posted and we got tired of it and it made us annoyed that the show was becoming too staged/scripted. Check it out and let us know what you find? There seems to be a lot more lies that Gretchen had in her closet/bedroom. Seems like Tamra, Vicki, and Jeana were made to look bad for not accepting her. 112Just one word to describe Gretchen and Slade and all of the OC wives and this season… “Fake”.. As , Elaine on “Seinfeld” said in one of their episodes, “Fake, Fake, Fake Fake”…ha-ha!! The whole story was so fabricated from the start… Gretchen was dating Slade. he gets thrown off of the OC Wives.. Gets his “dating” show with Jo but comments on dating Gretchen Rossi, “hot” babe, then … all of a sudden she shows up on the OC Wives…engaged to an old, ill man.. She is closer in age to the OC wives’ kids than to them.. She is the “perfect” Barbie,
“acts” like she is going to marry this old man and have, as she says 4 kids, even though he is obviously dying? She flies his kids in for 2 episodes and schmoozes them with her charm, yet, leaves them to care for him while she shows off her $65,000 ring, bling, clothes, bikinis, “peacock”/burlesque, whatever.. outfits, and proceeds to flirt with everyone who will look.. She must have talked about her looks/”real” boobs, and how does my butt look? 100 times …while trying to entice every man in her path from the motorcycle sales guys to the guys at the track to the bartender in Vegas (showing her “red” bra) to Tamra’s son, to all of the women’s husbands while she yelled at the table during dinner and stuck herself/body in every man’s face and blamed it on being “drunk”? She did the same when she went to any restaurant/bar/the gym which Jeff bought her, etc. She’s a real “man siren”.. She uses her looks ( real or not, according to some photos and media) to make men crazy.. That’s fine… if she is looking for men who just want her for sex… but.. she then, puts on her “Golly Gosh Gosh” innocent Barbie act and tries to make everyone fall for her as this innocent cheerleader? We have all known one of THESE women in our lives..no matter WHAT age?? I’m really laughing at the people who fall for this crap. Had she NOT been engaged to a very ill man, would ANYONE have believed her crap/behavior? My friends made a good point. They said, “Watch her when she visits her college friends episode. She drags them and their babies into the bar instead of the dining areas.. to get attention from the men at the bar.. She looks older than them.. as, she dresses like a hooker, make up, and that fake Barbie hair.. They all look like normal 30 year old women.. appropriately dressed, very cute, happy with their lives, marriages, babies.. and SHE is shoving her $65,000 ring in their faces and crying about how hard her life is?? 115In the never ending drama of the OC housewives, Jeff’s ex wife and mother of his three children Sharon spoke out recently and cleared the air on the whole Gretchen issue. She posted this as a comment on our other blog. We were able to verify with 100% certainty that the comment was indeed written by Sharon. What she had to say is very interesting.
“My kids do NOT and NEVER have adored Gretchen….they know exactly what she’s about and what she’s up to and has been up to all along and their Dad knew it too. My daughter, Jill making any statement re. Gretchen explained that she simply doesn’t want anymore negative comments written about her Dad which is embarrassing and hurtful to her and her brother and sister. Jill appearing to defend Gretchen (slightly) is done only to quiet any negative statements made about her Dad period. Our three kids, Jennifer, Jill and Jake (Lizzy is not Jeff’s daughter, nor mine…she’s a long-time friend of our daughter Jill) are not fans of Rossi at all and how they describe her in real terms, isn’t nice and hasn’t been nice historically. The fact is, Jeff was never going to marry her and she knows it but likes to play it like they were so much in love (gee…wonder why???). I’ve known Jeff for 25 years and I did visit him in August while he was in the hospital at which time we talked a lot. What I know is totally different than what Gretchen portrays which means, I know the truth and she knows that I know the truth. Sometimes I feel pity for her which is about the most I can feel given all of her lies over the course of time. I really feel sorry for her family, especially her Mom.
My kids are so far above Gretchen in integrity, self-respect and character that it’s really embarrassing that they were ever exposed to her to begin with. Jeff said he was lonely and knew that he appeared desperate to a lot of people, probably both and not unlike a lot of people that are in their mid-life. Gretchen badgered him into being part of this show to begin with and Tamra exposing Gretchen for the fraud she is was gutsy even knowing that she’d experience some backlash from it. Gretchen screwing around on Chris with Jeff and on Jeff with Jay and Jay with Slade naturally would have it’s downside and if Gretchen believed that all of this would remain secret means that she is about as intelligent as a box of rocks. So….Jay exposed her…she’s earned all the disrespect she’s been given and gives to others and if she believes she deserves an iota of respect at all, well….I’m back to the box of rocks intellect again.

Let us look at the time line - 2004 Gretchen Forward married Chris Rossi (Class of 91 Adelphia University). Allegedly, shortly after the marriage she had an affair with a neighbor, which Chris found out but forgave her. 2005 she met Jeff when he purchased a home in Neport Beach. He sold the home a few years later. Gretchen divorced Chris in 2007. Jeff was diagnosed in December 2007 and according to Gretchen’s own words that is when Jeff asked her to marry him. (The ink was barley dry on the divorce papers) Jeff and Gretchen also appeared on Hgtv in 2007 in get out way out a yard with a view. Jay Photoglou has stated that he and Gretchen started dating in January 2008. (1 month after Jeff asked her to marry him) Oh and by the way, Jay is a big goater and Gretchen did admit that he was at Bass Lake. Was that his boat that Gretchen was partying on while Jeff was in the hospital?
Throughout the show, Gretchen pledges her love for Jeff and how devoted she is, yet her actions prove other wise. Gretchen told Jeanna that Jeff’s son told his mother that his father spends too much time alone. So his ex wife came to the hospital and once again Gretchen pulls the poor me. Jeff’s sister (Judy Fike) stated she nor her mother never even met Gretchen and she was surprised to find out during the funeral that they had been together for four years. (check out time line) She also stated that Jeff would never have married her. Jeff’s daughter Jill also stated that she was sure her father would never have married her. The obituary stated Gretchen was his companion not his fiance.
Gretchen acts as if she is a victim when in reality all the viewers that she defrauded are the real victim’s. I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around 2x over and Gretchen’s day is coming.

She’d be perfect with Hugh Hefner on “The Girls Next Door”.. She’s a carbon copy of the other Gold Digging Blonds on that show and that “peacock” outfit she has will be perfect for Hef. He’ll love her fake giggles and “real” boobs, too. Then. all of you Gretchen Moonies can watch her there and, maybe. the OC Wives show can cast a “real” housewife/mother next season that is older than 30 and isn’t going to hit on all of the husbands and sons of the OC cast. Gretchen never would have been cast on the OC wives had she not been dating Slade when he was on the “Date My Ex” show with Jo. He probably got her on the wives show when he was dating her and realized that he wasn’t going to be able to sponge off of Jo any longer, since that show sucked and Jo moved on with her singing career money, etc. and didn’t need him or his slimy cheating any longer. Maybe Slade can “pimp” Gretchen out to another show next season while the gigolo, Slade, lives with Gretchen off of her money. They are both “Hos”. Gee, what will Gretchen’s fans do if they can’t blame everything on Tamra and bash her and trash her for Gretchen’s actions? Tamra should be the one getting a restraining order for some of the obsessed Gretchen fans who say horrible things about her and her family!!

She could care less who does/doesn’t “like” her now. She has all of the media attention to continue to make money just by shaking her fake butt in her bikinis for the cameras on any news, TV show/newspaper, etc. She can continue to get paid for doing nothing but stir up the media.. with a lot of boyfriends/gigolos/bling shopping on the side, of course!!
