Former Happy Days star Scott Baio has married his longtime girlfriend Renee Sloan during a wedding ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The small religious ceremony took place on the rooftop of a luxury high-rise building, with guests including Renee Sloan’s 18-year-old daughter Kalyn - from a previous relationship - and the couple’s newborn baby girl, who was delivered last month.
The 46-year-old actor has been dating model-turned-actress Renee Sloan, 35, since 2005 and agreed to have the wedding filmed for the second season of his reality TV show - Scott Baio is 45… And Single - which premieres next month.
However, Scott Baio, now 46, is not 45 … or Single,” last season the show focused on Scott’s commitment-phobia and other relationship issues. The first season concluded with his longtime girlfriend Renee Sloan, 35, revealing her pregnancy. VH1 has already renewed the show for another season, which will focus on Baio’s fatherhood. I hope they change the name of the show to help with the confusing and misleading old title.
“Scott Baio Is 45 …” averaged 1.3 million viewers for initial airings this summer, with about three-fourths of those viewers falling into the adults 18-49 demographic.
Good luck Renne. Here is some advise. I’d try to pace your schedule so you give Scott Baio a little alone time every two hours or so, just to play it safe. And make sure the kid doesn’t rattle him too much. And I’d open up a secret bank account in the Cayman Islands and stash a little away for the future. Marriage or no, it doesn’t sound like Scott Baio is in it for the long haul.

2Exactly how old is Renee, I see one paragraph says she’s 45 and another paragraph…she’d 35. huh?

Renee Sloan was born Peaches Renee Sloan on December 24, 1972, which makes her age 34 - but were going to call her 35 like everyone else…besides she will be 35 this month

4This whole thing is a joke. First the television show on Scott Baio is rediculous..How convient was it that as Scott comes back to talk about commitment Renee just HAPPENS to mention she was pregnant. The this baby is born a month early (yea right)..I think she knew long before. Renee is around 35 and has an 18 yr old daughter. My goodness she messed her life up early didn;t she. I see a classic example of a guy letting his guard down and another oportunist woman fame money seeker sinking her claws into Scott. But hey, maybe it’s his time to grow up and settle down and be a real man. I like the show it is entertaining..but I wonder if all are giving the cameras very good acting job. People enjoy it but believe me they reveal what they want to…how much is true…who really knows…I understand the babies name is Bailey….Bailey Baio each by themselves very nice together it sounds like a stripper’s name…but then again..we will consider the source regarding mommy. She has a history of doing what it takes to get what she wants at any cost…….in alot of way a typical “devilish” female.

5Wow–people are sooo brutal –i hope that if his new wife ever reads these she has a thick skin, who are you to judge them? I only am on this site because my girlfriends and i were looking to see if they named the baby yet , and she seems like a wonderful, sweet girl –you people should get a life! Everyone has issues, God Bless them and all of you!

6Having a baby young doesn’t screw up your life, it just makes you grow up a little faster. Last time I checked it was 2008. Grow the f&^% up. Why is she a fame seeker when he really has no fame any longer? They are both in show business, of course they want fame, duh, that’s their job. Scott is more of a slut than she ever was or could be. I hope they are happy and hopefully Scott won’t screw it up.

7Venessa - It is posted on IMDB that the baby was born 5 weeks early. Babies are born early all the time so who are you to say it’s a lie? Judge not, lest you be judged.

8Wow Venessa obviously has no kids becuase babies are born early or late. umm also if you knew anything you would know that she was carrying twins and had a miscarriage so was that staged too. I mean she wanted the baby to die for the sake of reality tv you are such a dumbass. Just because someone has a child young doesnt mean anything her daughter is in college doing fine so who are you to judge. When did your parents have u? Maybe to young cause you seem pretty messed up.
Maybe you should crawl into a hole and think about making fun of someone who just lost a child …For the sake of reality tv as you say.

9I think that Scott should start wearing the pants in the family. He let her act like that because she was pregnant and her hormones were going crazy. But, when she poured that glass of water on him during one of the shows…. I couldn’t believe what a wimp he was to let that happen and then to air it and let the world see it.
SCOTT YOU ARE THE MAN OF THE HOUSE start acting like it or you will have to start wearing a dress 24/7.
I also found it funny that as soon as Scott states he’s ready to commit to Renee that she tells him by the way I am pregnant. Scott i would recommend a paternity test. I am sure MAURY can get you on his show a.s.a.p. LOL!
I have watched you since the HAPPY DAYS show and I always thought that you were a strong, handsome young man. NOW its time to RUN your own show at home. Quit this yes Renee to everything she does… does she help support the household? Be everything you can be!!!!!!
You do have a beautiful little girl…. and i wish you all the happiness and joy in the world that that precious little girl will bring you!!!!
