Nick Hogan is such a compassionate blogger, he took some time yesterday to post his thoughts and feelings in a long overdue blog post in his MySpace blog. Before I slam Nick Hogan (son of wrester Hulk Hogan, brother of Brooke Hogan), on his spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and everything else, let me first remind you that Nick Hogan was wrecklessly driving his Toyota Supra in Clearwater, Florida and was involved in a terrible car accident earlier this August.
Driving irresponsibly in his Toyota Supra, Nick Hogan and his passenger John J. Graziano were both injured. Nick was released the next morning with a broken arm. John J. Graziano, an Iraq War Veteran sustained massive head injuries and will most likely spend the rest of his life in a nursing home on life support.
In Nick Hogans MySpace Blog, he gives an update to what has been going on since the crash.

its been forever since i blogged…hell i dont even know what blog means but i guess its where you write stuff for people to read
anyways my last one was before i even drove for mopar, if you check my pics youll see that i did end up driving for them for my amateur season and most of my pro rookie season. i recently left the mopar team tho…things didnt work out to well
but!….i picked up a new title sponsor…POLAROID! and started my own team with twin 350z’s pretty cool i know
anyways id like everyone to wish my luck for my 08 season and keep john graziano in your prayers
All I can say is what a prick! Nick Hogan should be held more responsible for his stupid behavior. He was probably acting like a fool hot rodding in his Supra drifting around in Clearwater that evening. He makes his friend such an after thought. If I were the parents of John J. Graziano, I would sue the crap out of Nick Hogans Family! Nick is a complete retard! He can barely write….and this person is driving around?!?!

1Daddy and mommy probably thought it was best that Nick get back into his usual lifestyle since he was so miserable thinking about how he ended his friend’s life. Nick’s life must go on, you know, until he has another accident. Hope that you are not on the street when he is out driving.
The style of his blod entry is a great testament to the home schooling he had.
Nick: Please don’t kill me with your car.

4I live in the same town as the hogans. and I watched nick growing up(seeing him around town with his father, on the water and at the belleair causeway getting gas for their waverunners. He seemed like such a sweet innocent young lad. It just goes to show u how growing up in the public eye with celebreties instead of PARENTS can really mold you into a celf-centered all eyes on me type of person. And whats with hogan always taking these pictures at events with his daughter dressed up as his DATE, where the hell was linda at all the time? Go ahead and try to find a pic of hogan and his wife. no wonder they had problems……

5Wow, I’m glad you feel comfortable enough to anonymously criticise someone you’ve never met from behind your computer terminal. (feels hypocritical.) But hey, whatever.
And, given your license in psychology, you probably realize that young Nick is either a-in denial or b-too young to realize that actions have consequences. He’s 18 for crissakes, do you really think he realizes what he done?
I’m sure he could’ve written about his friend, but what good would it do aside from making him feel glum? The past-in-the-past, or some-such. He’s rich and he doesn’t need to worry about it.
Besides; George Bush was probably going to kill the soldier next week anyways. Nike might have saved his live.

6john not having his seat belt buckled is going to play a significant part in the civil trial(as in a much smaller settlement)seeing as how nick had his buckled and came out relatively unscathed.i dont know why every one runs nic and brooke down so much they seem like down to earth kids !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7leave him alone, hes made mistakes and hes trying to live a normal life, its a huge burden for a 17 year old especially with his parents splitting it must be hard for him, im 17 myself and i can imagine how bad it would be to put your best friend in that kind of situation. Accidents like this happen all the time to new drivers, John was stupid for not wearing a seat belt.

8I;m so tired of the slammin of the Hogans.First as a parent i can say when your children reach a certain age you cannot control everything they do. Nic made a poor choice to drink and drive. Im sorry someone was hurt so badly, but he also made the decesion to get into that car with someone drinkin. Nic is just a kid. Ipray every day for that young man an his family. But the truth is it was just an accident. I also pray for Nic an his family.

9I don’t recall anyone forcing Mr. Graziano to get in the car Nick was driving. Would anyone care if he weren’t constantly labeled as a war vet? He made his choice and he should be used as an example of why you don’t get into a car with morons like Nick. Unfortunate situation.

11Considering that John is Nick’s best friend and they ran in the same racing circle - has anyone stopped to think that he was having a great time feeling just as invincible as Nick and almost everyone growing up? Who ever feels they are going to die or end up brain dead at that age? People always know what’s best and have the most profound (note sarcasm) things to say after the fact but it’s all fun and games before any accidents are had. I pray for John and Nick both and the way I’ve seen this country react - I pray for the nation as well. We are truly a holier than thou nation.

12Nick is 17 John is 22, John was the adult not Nick, John was the war vet, just because he got hurt all the blame is on Nick. John should have worn his seat belt he ran in this racing circle he knew the speeds. John was Nicks friend he knew Nick had four previous speeding tickets he also knew Nick had been drinking since I will bet John being over 21 very well could have bought the alcohol. People need to do the math before they start spewing ignorant venom.

13Nick was treated very harshly in this situation it is so easy to forget he was the minor John was 22 he should have been responsible for wearing or not wearing his seat belt. John knew Nick was intoxicated and he knew Nicks driving habits he chose to get in that car and he chose not to wear his seat belt. Nick walked away because the one responsible thing he did was wearing his seatbelt. Nick should have gotten a reckless driving ticket but he should not have been held responsible for the injuries suffered by a willing participant who was dumb and did not wear their seatbelt.

17Well,after hearing and seeing all the news this week about the Hogans i think i have changed my mine. The Hogans seem to have lost there minds. How can you say that John did something wrong an God is making him pay for it. Nic Hogan is just a spoiled little rich kid . He seems to not care about what he has done. Then there is the mom Linda Hogan saying that John’s mom is not hurting. Just because you don’t see eye to eye with your children all the time does not mean you don’t love them. I can’t even began to think what John’s mother must be feeling. Linda can still talk to her child and he’ll be comin home in 8 months.

18Nick and the injured passenger both share in the responsiblity for this accident. The victim had been in the car with Nick many times prior doing the exact same thing they were doing that very day. He knew that it was dangerous and still chose to remain in the car. So, yes Nick caused the accident and has to pay for his bad judgement. In no way am I suggesting he shouldn’t be responsible, but… it is not one sided. The injured young man could have made a conscious choice not to be in the vehicle to begin with. As for the Hogan family…I am very disappointed in the Hulk’s reaction to this entire situation. He should have stood up and said to his son…you made your bed now lie in it. I thought the Hulk had morals and better judgement than he has shown. The fact that the whole family is oblivious to the reprecussions of this accident shows they do not live in reality. Their lives are as fake as their reality show. I really thought Hulk Hogan would have stood up and said his son was in the wrong and will have to pay for his mistake. He could have shown his support for Nick and at the same time made him learn that he isn’t above the law or anything else. Unfortunately, the injured young man’s family is hurting and they are putting the entire blame on Nick which is no better than the Hogan’s reaction. The whole situation is horrific but these two familes are never going to be the same. The Hulk and Nick both need to step up to the plate and show remorse and find a way to help both families cope. Denial will not help the situaqtion.

19I have a nice 4 wheel drive for Nick to drive under when he gets out of jail - don’t bump when you go under you wreckless drunk driving spoiled ass selfish prick of a punk! Hey heres a thought - why don’t the Hogan’s all go out to celebrate when Nick gets out of jail by all of them having a few cocktails and then they can all load up in Nick’s car and go racing! I’ll buy the gas!

20Things happen for a reason, believe it or not GOD is the one that decides thou destiny. It was John’s choice not to put his seatbelt, Nick never forced him to get in the car, he choosed too. I dont understand why everyone thinks that Nick deserves the worst. This is a lot for him right now, hes parents getting divorced, him being jail, hes friend brain dead. This is just too much for him. I dont think is right that John’s family wants the Hogan’s to pay for his care for the rest of his life. You don’t see any other ordinary people doing that. Imagine if all the people that get in accidents, sue whoever was “responsible” for the crash. They would be supporting another human being. Why is it that only because they (Hogan’s) have money there sueing them, what if it was someone else, someone that didn’t have money, would they do the same??? There just after there money. Instead of filing lawsuits, and calling the hogans leaving threating messages, they should be with John supporting him. Praying for him. They are trying to be to much in the public eye. They want everyone to feel sorry for them. These things happen, why don’t we make a big deal of out the bum in the corner that got raned over but a drunk driver and is on life support right now. We are all human, and one day we are all going to die, instead of worrying about BS like this, worry about whats going on with the world. Gas prices, Global Warming, Chemtrails, all the conspiracy theories about the government.

21God decides our fates therefore least we forget about a little thing called “Karma” folks. Those feeling “sorry” for Nick because his family is splitting up, he is in jail and his friend is brain dead need to stop and think for a moment! This family is “suffering” because of their OWN IMMORAL BEHAVIOR! Their actions and behavior have brought about their problems - not anyone else simply put. When you conduct yourself in a manner such as this family has your gonna get back what you put on others - you know like it says in the bible? Do unto others as you would have done unto you. I feel no pity for the Hogan clan - their an immoral and negative family and their actions are causing an internal explosion of their lives that has been brought on by themselves and themselves only! Think about folks - if you act toward others in a postive and moral manner what happens - you get that back, HOWEVER if you act like an immoral disrespectful jerk what do you get back then????? You got it - the same thing! You get back what you put out! The Hogans are just another example of “above the law” and “we’re better than the general population” attitude. I feel no pity for them yet I do not wish any harm to them either simply because their behavior if left unchanged will come back to haunt them such as it has now. I as a true believer in conducting myself in a moral and respectful manner am simply watching the Hogans prove to me and the rest of the world HOPEFULLY that you get what you deserve. By the way - did anyone catch the “Hulksters” interview on T.V. with Nancy Grace? You know when he commented to her that John being in a come will - how did the Hulk put it now???? OH YEAH “John being in a coma will make him a better person”. Hulk Hogan your a looser simply put and your family is right there with you!

23This same blog has been coming up over an over. Lets find someting better to discuss. So much more has happened since this blog. The whole Hogan family is falling apart. Moms dating a 19 yr old, Hulk is getting sued. Brooke cant get a job and shes the only one half sane out of the whole bunch. Which isnt saying much. Then there is that poor boy that will never wake up. He’s a vegetable for the rest of his life. Everyone keeps forgetting him in all this. Yes i know he got in the car and he wasn’t wearing a setbelt. But still Nick was driving he’s accountable for everything that goes on in his car. So it comes down to we need to pray for all of them.

27RNMORGAN before you continue “spewing off at the mouth” take this into perspective. My brother who was class valedictorian, about to graduate from highschool to go on to college on an academic scholarship along with his best friend who was also going to college on an academic scholarship were out one Sunday riding their motorcycles together and enjoying the beautiful day, when you know what RNMORGAN? A well known local spoiled kid whose father gave him anything and got him out of everything was drinking AND driving AND illegaly racing thru town streets and you know what RNMORGAN? This well known spoiled kid ran a red light instantly killing my brother AND his best friend who were on separate motorcycles riding side by side thru that red light. My brother and his best friend who WERE obeying traffic laws and simply out enjoying a beautiful Sunday afternoon together as they’d done every Sunday since they got their licenses “together” AND bought their motorcycles “together” were killed because of this spoiled kid who had been drinking - driving and racing thru the streets illegaly. You getting a visual on this RNMORGAN? However - that’s not the end to this sad tale brought on by a spoiled rich kids irresponsible behavior. My father who “was” chief of police (until after this incident and has since retired) was first on the scene not knowing he was about to see his only son lieing on the street dead. My mother - head nurse at the hospital he was transported to - didn’t know she was about to come face to face with her dead son either. And me? I was 14 years old - broken hearted - confused - and in therapy. My mother AND fathers early retirement as well as my mental trama all brought on by a spoiled reckless rich kid who was drinking and driving and racing recklessly - yeah RNMORGAN - guess I do have alot to be jealous of huh?

28The thing that everyone seems to forget is that since Nick Hogan was the driver and it was his vehicle he is ultimately resposible for any passenger in his car. Everytime you get in your vehicle you take your life as well as any passengers lives in your vehicle AND everyone else driving the streets into your hands. If you cause an accident you are responsible for the outcome of that accident. That includes bodily injury, mental anguish and property damage. It may be true that John didn’t put his seat belt on and as the adult he should not have let Nick drive due to Nick’s impaired condition. If Nick wasn’t drunk, being a responsible person, he should have told John to put his seat belt on. Perhaps if he was taught responsibility by his parents from an early age and perhaps if his father, the great Hulk Hogan, took the resposibilty to ingrain in his son’s head that a car is not a toy and that drinking and driving do not mix then maybe Nick might have had enough sense to make him stop and think. Yes, John and Nick made poor decisions that day. But Nick has a record of being an irresponsible driver on many occassions and his parents did NOTHING! They coddled him, took care of his tickets and let him continue his destructive behaviour. I guess that is why so many kids out there feel like they are bullet proof. Should the Hogan family be made to pay for the life-long treatment of John? Yes. Nick was a minor and the parents are still responsible for the actions of their children. The Hogan’s encouraged their son’s behaviour by not disciplining Nick for his bad behaviour over the years and instead brushed it all under the carpet. I think what angers people the most about this situation is the lack of remorse and the self-centeredness on the part of the Hogan’s. It almost seems like they treat John as an after-thought. Hogan and his son Nick planning out a “REAL-ality” show (Nick doesn’t even know how to pronounce reality) so everyone can see the “new” Nick and rake in the money. Hogan’s wife (soon to be ex-wife) boo-hooing because her baby went to jail. Tell me Linda how would you feel if John and Nick’s places were switched? How would it be if the Graziano family were trying to make a buck off your son that will need round the clock care for the rest of his life? It is a shame that this tradgedy had to happen. My prayers go out to the Graziano family and to their son John. And believe it or not my prayers go out to the Hogan family as well. I sincerely hope that this tradgedy is a life changing experience for Nick and his family. Remember that no one is above the law and we all have to own up to our responsibilities for ourselves and our fellow man.

31Let’s not forget that Hulk and his silver-spoonfed moron of a son were actually planning to make a SHOW profiting off him being on his 5-year probation as soon as he was released from jail, while he was still in there (I’m seriously going to start boycotting sponsors if they actually pull this shit off, which I doubt now).
They’ve also blamed John’s ‘karma’ for his extremely traumatic brain injury and that he deserved being in the permanent vegetative state Nick left him just to teach him a ‘lesson’ about his ‘negative ways’. BTW: nice little dedication blurb you left the guy there, Nick. I’m sure his parents appreciated it.

33accidents happen all the time, its a horrible fact of life, nothing or no one can change the past, we all have to just move on. Being hateful and bitter never ever helps. We all make mistakes everyone every day, thank God we can be forgiven, bitterness and hatred is like drinking poison and hopeing the person your angry at dies. Dont make any sense. Move on….
