DMX Dog Abuse Police PhotosDMX’s Arizona home was raided during back in August after a tipster told police dogs were being kept there in inhumane conditions. During the raid 12 live pit bulls were removed from the residence in bad condition along with a number of weapons and about a quarter-ounce of marijuana. No charges were filed at this time and the police were still investigating the case.

DMX has a history of law-enforcement run-ins.

In 1999, during a “Hard Knock Life” tour stop in Denver, he was arrested and later cleared in the stabbing and shooting of his mother.

In 2002, he pleaded guilty to animal cruelty for neglecting 13 pit bulls in his possession.

Today the police released a new report in the DMX case. The police have dug up a total of 3 dogs at the residence of DMX.

One of the dogs had serious bite wounds and another had trauma to its abdomen, but exact causes of death were not determined, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Saturday. A third dog carcass had been burned so badly an exam was inconclusive.

At this time no charges have been filed against DMX. I wouldn’t doubt it if DMX ends up in prison with Michael Vick. DMX is trying to pass the blame similar to how Michael Vick did by claiming that he has not been at the residence in several months and that this was done by his caretakers. Nice try DMX, I think you need a better story than that, Michael Vick already sang that song in the court room.
